Ordering Gift Cards

You may order gift cards through patientNOW's accounting department. Just email accounting@patientnow.com and let them know that you wish to order gift cards.

If you do not already have one, you will need to purchase patientNOW's Magnetic Card Reader as well.

We order the cards from a specific vendor; for gift cards ordered from another vendor, you will need to data enter the number when selling and redeeming them.

Since these cards use your own logos and images, please review the digital art requirement information below. Any alterations to original application files performed by our printer will be charged at $95.00 per hour. Lead time is 12 days; around the holidays, it may be longer.

Size

Must be at least 300 DPI at actual size.

File Format

Save as CMYK, TIFF, or EPS.

If providing TIFF or EPS files, also provide a layered PSD file. Any rotation, skewing or distortion of files should be done in Photoshop to expedite postscript output.

Link images instead of embedding them so that any adjustments can be made; please provide the linked files with the original file.

You may provide a .pdf file as long as the fonts are outlined, no die lines show, and quality is print quality.

Files created in Word or Excel will incur art charges.

Files created in Publisher or PowerPoint cannot be accepted.

Bleeding

All artwork extending to the card edges requires a .125" bleed for die cut tolerances.

All copy that doesn't bleed should be at least .125" inside die cuts.

Fonts and Text

Include all type fonts, screen and printer fonts when you send the job or convert to outline.

Text for card backs must be either editable text built in QuarkExpress 6.5, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Illustrator CS3, or InDesign CS3, or text that has been converted to outlines. Please avoid providing text as raster images unless special effects are being used.

Color

Specify job to be printed in spot or process color.

When creating BLACK backgrounds in Photoshop, use a rich black color mix of 70 cyan, 40 magenta, 40 yellow and 100 black.
